Apperantly someone has previously to your actions changed the
IDE configuration from the default.
The Blade 100 is supposed to have Ultra/ATA 80-lead flatcable IDE
cableing and the IDE disk / CDROM is supposed to be set to
CABLE SELECT. Not Master / Slave configuration. This is the standard
configuration with ULTRA/ATA100 diskdrives.
