Hello,

for a jumpstart setup, we use a TFTP server running on a Solaris 8 computer
(a 280R).
This computer used to work OK, in fact, just two days earlier we jumpstarted
a host from it.

A snoop started on the jumpstart server, when the host to be jumpstarted got
the "boot net - install":
Using device /dev/qfe (promiscuous mode)
         eye -> jumpst2 TFTP Read "0A6D00E9" (octet)
         eye -> BROADCAST TFTP Read "0A6D00E9" (octet)
         eye -> BROADCAST TFTP Read "0A6D00E9" (octet)
         eye -> BROADCAST TFTP Read "0A6D00E9" (octet)
         eye -> BROADCAST TFTP Read "0A6D00E9" (octet)
         eye -> BROADCAST TFTP Read "0A6D00E9" (octet)
         eye -> BROADCAST TFTP Read "0A6D00E9" (octet)
         eye -> BROADCAST TFTP Read "0A6D00E9" (octet)
                                    <ad infinitum>

Also, check this out::

bash-2.03# tftp jumpst2
tftp> get 0A6D00E9
Transfer timed out.

tftp> quit
bash-2.03# ls -l 0A6D00E9
-rw-r--r-- 1 root other 0 Jan 16 12:54 0A6D00E9

The inetd.conf entry:
bash-2.03# grep tftp /etc/inetd.conf
tftp dgram udp6 wait root /usr/sbin/in.tftpd in.tftpd -s
/tftpboot

Obviously, I already tried to pkill -1 inetd.

I'm going crazy here. Nobody seems to know what's going on.
