Solaris Sparc 9 12/3 Core ./installer failing due Java?

Hi at Solaris,

I installed a Sun netra T1 with Solaris Sparc 9 12/03 core last days and
brought through some nights now with a nasty error message. I can not
run any ./installer Java based script e.g. from a CDROM any more!

What I get is this:

I did install the core group with some additional stuff like most Java,
Tomcat and Jakarta.

I saw some developers on the Net claming about similiar error messages,
but with older braches of Solaris which were not ready for Motif2.1.
