Sounds like moving to G will be worth the effort, for now I'm happy with
802.11b, at least it's working. I also updated the firmware to 1.5.4 on the
WET11 yesterday and found that it did improve the connection, I found that
intermittently it would slow down or drop out altogether for a few seconds,
now it's steady. My impression of Netgear must have been tainted by this
ME101 bridge, because it really is junk. I've since read reports elsewhere
that also report trouble, I guess they sorted it out for the 'g' model.
Review each component carefully before buying looks to be the rule with
wireless gear.
