Hi all,
I run a Sun Blade 100 with SunOS 5.9 and, additionally, a SunPCI 2.2.2 card
with Windows XP professional installed. I have two problems with the SunPCI
card and Windows:
(i) I have a German keyboard which works perfectly with my SunOS (I didn't
have to do any configuration, I just attached it). But the German layout is
not recognized by Windows XP. Although I can choose 'German' as language,
the American keyboard layout remains unaltered.
(ii) Windows is not able to play back media formats like quicktime or wmv.
Instead of a video stream I get something like 1 picture every 10 seconds.
Could it be a matter of RAM? I have 128 MB of RAM on the SunPCI card, which
is not much but enough to display videos on Intel computers.
Any suggestion?
Stefan
