Well, I think the real bottleneck is the 32-bit, 33MHz PCI bus on the
Sun Blade 100 (and 150). If that's the case, it might work better if the
SunPCI were set up to use its own video interface rather than to display
within an X window.
Even native video players (except xine, which has some special support
to do some of the work on the pgx64) can't manage much of a frame rate
with larger window sizes on the Sun Blade 100 (even xine couldn't do it
with actual full-screen video, 'cause it's getting past the bus bottleneck
by having the pgx64 scale from something smaller to full-screen).
