We have a SunFire V480 with a PCI Gig Ethernet card (we can't use the
built in Gig ports - we don't have any copper Gig switch). We have
been unable to get it to function. We have replaced the GiG card and
the fibre cables and confirmed that there is communication via the
fibre to the Gig switch and the network.
Has anyone else been able to get a PCI GigEthernet card to work on a
V480. Server is installed with Solaris 8. We have been attempting to
use the ge drivers. Any suggestions appreciated.
