Yes, I think that is likely the problem. FWIW, I believe the standard
default screen size is/was 1152 x 900, which is not a standard IBM and/or
PC screen size at all. I'm not sure, but I suspect that is still the
default? My Ultra-2 Creator boards have that resolution after installation.

As you say, decent recent monitors will be able to do it, but many old
ones will not be able to sync up. I even have an old Sun colour monitor
that only goes up to 66Hz frame refresh (newer ones do 76Hz?). I can still
install, but I have to be careful when changing display modes.

I suppose there might be a way to use OBP to change display settings to
something more PC like? like 1280 x 1024? does 1024 x ??? work? I have
never had the interest or necessity to dig that deep. Bought a couple of
used Sun monitors years ago, and they are still working.
