Hi,
One more "BTW". I was looking at this other Sun article on Sunsolve:
http://sunsolve.sun.com/search/document.do?assetkey=1-30-1193-1&searchclause=nis
And, at the beginning, it says to do a 'sys-unconfig'.
With my system, I didn't do a system-unconfig, mainly because I thought
that clears everything out, including the system's IP address, but I
thought that I'd mention this. When I installed Solaris on this
machine, I chose "DNS" for the name service, even though I don't have a
DNS server for my test domain.
It's an older article (circa 1995), so I wasn't sure if it was
applicable or not.
