i read some early docs on sunray terminals, that they use about 30mhz cpu
of the server. that would be some max 1200mhz on the sun.
if all of them are active.

you need to check for the bottleneck, memory, cpu or network.
vmstat for memory & cpu
netstat for network
iostat for disks
one way to do this is if you are using Solaris8, is reading
/etc/rc2.d/S21perf
