Use patch manager 2.0. It will apply all multiuser-safe patches
and save the disallowed_patch_list (by default, interactive,
single-user and reboot-after patches). You can then drop to init s
and run smpatch add -x idlist=disallowed_patch_list.
That should reduce your downtime to a couple of hours.
