Cycle 5 - do I have a h/w problem?

I have a cycle 5 (Sparc 5 clone) Yesterday it hung twice.
Symptoms:
Won't ping
Can't telnet in
keyboard dead - stop a doesn't and even the lights on caps lock etc don't light
up.
But, unplug the keyboard and it beeps and puts up the boot/continue/command
prompt. Any of which work - ie it can see the keyboard, but give it c and its
back to the frozen state.
I am not, as far as I know, running out of space. Obviously I cannot check when
it hangs but under normal running there is tons of space.
