    Here's an idea ... Examine all the code for legality *before* making any
    press releases, *then* go out and release it, code and all. Instant
    credibility, without all the suspicion that will linger on for years.
    Sun may have *thought* that they would get credibility with the first
    press release, but the intended target is harder to impress than
    anticipated, and the plan back-fired. The best thing they could do
    right now is to just hurry up with something substantial, because their
    reputation in the OSS world is just getting worse by the minute. That
    takes time to rebuild later.
