Windowmaker works fine, except for this minor annoyance of having the
wrong path for WPrefs in the menus or the launch button. I've seen this
on various sorts of systems (Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris) and always
thought: "Bah! They got the path wrong again..."
The "fix" for the bug in the menus and/or startup files installed with
the Windowmaker package is to use find(1) to locate the WPrefs
executable and then manually edit the Windowmaker menu, the command of
the lanch button and any other location that needs to fire up WPrefs.
I can't speak about the rest of those window managers or desktops,
because on Solaris I use CDE.
