Yes, that works, but (I think) you get one VNC server per host that
way (Ok you could add more entries to Xservers...), what I wanted was
an arbitrary number of them, on arbitrary hosts (well, ones that you
can query).
of course your soln is probably closer to what the OP wanted, so ...
