Just wondering if any one had migrated data from an Old array to New
array ( We are migrating from an 8830 to DMX )on Sun Cluster nodes
running 2.2 (Yes! 2.2...) & Sun Cluster nodes ( 3.1 ). we are moving to
a new Fabric as well. My main concern here is with the quorum device.
Here is what I have figured out so far. I would appreciate if any one
can add more info or any steps I might be missing. Both the nodes can
be taken down during this migration. So I dont have to worry about the

Reboot as standalone nodes.

Present the new Storage to the nodes over the new fabric.

Change the quorum device

Reboot into clustered mode

If cluster comes up fine with new quorum device and old storage, add
the new disks into Veritas and start mirroring the volumes.

After mirroing is done, Clean up old stuff.

Any thing missing??

Thanks,
S
