Not to Sun marketing, as it seems. German ix magazine from Feb. 2005
had an advertisement about the 10 advantages of Solaris 10, where
Nr. 8 is "Revolutionary new file system for highest data security and
scalability". I do remember seeing this ad frequently when I already had
Solaris 10 FCS running on a test machine.

Nr. 6 on the list was "compatible to Linux for x86 platforms", which
I guess means Project Janus.

Overall, I guess marketing was talking about Solaris 10 as "Solaris
10 FCS plus all the updates there might be in the future". At that
time I often thought about how much discussion Microsoft would've
caused with such an announcement ..
