Ok guys. Erlend is right, I am trying to enable root access via the
network, just not worded it too well (sorry). I realise the security
implications with allowing root access over the network but that's
another issue.

Ok I have a question related to this and please excuse my ignorance on
this. With the CONSOLE line NOT commented out in the login file should
I be able to login over the network with a user other than root?
