I had Solaris installed and booting fine from grub using rootnoverify
and the chainloader. It worked fine until I did a halt. The system sat
at a prompt to reboot. I did not want reboot so I pressed the power
button. Now when I try to boot, my system hangs with the grub commands
(can still ctrl+alt-delete) as if the boot block was corrupted.
Partitions:
0: Windows
1: Linux /boot
2: Solaris
3: Logical Linux [ .. ]
grub commands:
rootnoverify (hd0,2)
chainloader +1
Any tips? Rescue CDs?
