Their _old_ graphics system drives just about 95% of all desktops.
That's right, 95%. Its called quicktime and is used by Billy and
friends in their windoze machines. So actually apple drives a large
majority of desktops.

In fact, i'm quite satified with my iBook. It's been with me on my
backpack holiday, survived the climbing of 4 volcanos, some serious
trekking and cold nights in a not very dry tent without so much as a
hiccup and a single battery charge gives me about 5 hours of work time
and it's light enough to caryy around _with_ my backpack. Next time i
go, pick up your laptop and trek with me. We'll see who does
photo-editing on mountain-top after a week or two in a tent.

The last time I did that with my old laptop, it lasted for a week
before starting to give me problems. Hurray for Apple hardware! Bravo
for 3 floating-point and 1 integer operation per clockcycle on a G4
PowerPC, which dissipates not even half of a comparable x86 or clone.

Then, of course, there's the iPod. You may not like it, but Apple is in
fact the leader in that kind of application.
