Hi tmp123,

So this is a Sun machine Netra type, that reboots with no apparent
trace of a cause. Not an unknown phenomenon, boxes rebooting that is.
What is the network envronment? Any possibility of cabling inducing
this sort of problem? Sometimes router/backbone/switch hardware can
affect or crash a machine. If you're in a large environement, you
might have your WAN team look at it, or if a smaller comapny, have your
vendor dispatch a tech. Also, someone mentioned earlier that it could
be a firmware issue. I've seen issues like this on VMS, UNIX and other
non-intel hardware environemnts.
Another could be corruption of data, superblocks in the fs or other
potential issues like disk space, memory leaks or whatnot. Have your
Sun contact dispatch a tech or your networking vendor do the same.
Small problems can build up.
