Router discovery (RFC 1256) is a routing protocol based on multicast
addressing. Clients listen for routing announcements, but the router
has to advertize them. `in.routed' handles this protocol as well as
RIPv1 and RIPv2 in recent versions of Solaris. In all cases, however,
the router has to advertize the default route so the clients can
obtain it.
