It seems to be working. I dont know why was the reason to have the
.upa-noprobe-mask set to 2.

I guess that this variable is used as part of the server tolerance for failing parts so Solaris when a CPU fails during operation this varible is set during dump or similar process and then the system comes up in
reduced mode(onlyone CPU).
