Solaris DiskSuite and Mirroring

Is the following command in the the system file enough to ensure booting
from the secondary drive after the primary drive has failed?

set md:mirrored_root_flag=1

Is there anything else that has to be done? Booting of the secondary drive has bin hit or miss for me.. and I have lost data.

How is Sun going to handle open sourcing DiskSuite since it is Veritas code?

Thanks
.
