latest sol9 recommended broke printing

Hi,
I installed last week, the latest recommended and security patch cluster
on my two solaris 9 servers.
I did not review the 200 README files and that is why I install clusters.
Now my printing to hp network printers is erratic. Printing a text file
with lp /etc/motd gives me a stack error and printing with a2ps gives out
nothing.
I use hp printing soft for solaris (HPNPL) with the hppi utility to
configure the netork printing from the solaris serveur to the hp
printers.
It does not work either printed directly from the print server or from the
other stations printing through queue that redirect to the print server.
Has anybody seen this lately ?
Greetings
François
