Hi,
no problem with name resolution.
What we figured out is that snoop -P works very well.
This is what I found with Google (searching for: T2000 snoop 10 )
......
I spoke to sun support and was told to apply the following patch. It solved
all my problems
<a
href="http://sunsolve.sun.com/private-cgi/bounce.pl?url=/search/document.do?ass
etkey=1-21-118777-04-1" target="_blank">
http://sunsolve.sun.com/private-cgi/bounce.pl?url=/search/do
cument.do?assetkey=1-21-118777-04-1</a>
[/nobr]
.....
But the link doesn't work??!! So we don't know what patch fixed the problem.
We think we have to call Sun TechSupport.
regards
Heinz

I suspect that snoop is single-threaded, which then leads one to ask
about the relative single-threaded performance of the systems
involved.
Being more of a tcpdump guy myself, does snoop try to reverse-lookup
the IPs it sees? If so, is that working equally well on the two
machines? Do they talk to the same DNS servers?
