Frank,
Is it possible to do a wanboot and use flash archives via the
traditional method and not http?
does anyone know the lowest version of the obp which you need to
support wanboot with solaris 10?

Frank,
Still, if you're having an older offsite machine, without
CDROM drive and an OBP that doesn't support wanboot, you're
basically screwed. So, i wonder if it would be much effort -
or possible at all, for that matter - to tweak an installation
CD image on the disks to be bootable and loaded into a RAM-
disk?
Did some tests today; the following works:
- copy the ../Solaris*/Boot Directory from the Installations CD/DVDs to
a slice on the disk
- make the disk bootable using installboot
- create an obp alias for the disk if you like
- then do a
boot disk1 -o prompt -F wanboot - install
regards
Bernd
example output:
{1} ok boot disk1 -o prompt -F wanboot - install
