I was hoping the new Ultra 20s would be more similiar to SUNs Ultra
Sparc.
Planning on the WOW factor of a new system would soften the blow of
expecting employeess to do training on tther own time.
When it comes to older systems I perfer the Ultra 2's - The main issue
being the disks brackets that make remvoing or inserting disks quick
and easy. Allowing multiple systems to be maintained at the expense of
several disks.
I believe that the Ultra 20 is an x86/x64 machine. Thank you Sun Marketing for the confusing name!!
If you can get Ultra 2s for a good price, and if they support all the O/S version you want to use, by all means do so.
