Changing Runlevels and Graphic Card configuration

Hi,
I have an issue with configuring my ATI video driver Card, Radeon 200
embedded into the Intel D101GGC MOTHERBOARD. The screen goes blank
after booting from a successful install of Solaris 10.
During install, the video card driver taken by default is XF86-Vesa.
I have two queries for which to seek assistance:
Firstly, how to set the runlevel setting that would prompt the OS to
get me a Console to work from rather than crashing with a blank black
screen from the "Fail Safe" mode.
Secondly, how do I configure the ATI Radeon 200 specific graphic card
interface, or do I settle for the default Vesa that is diagnosed by the
installer.
I have gone to the ATI.com website and taken a look at their linux
installer.
Would the same work for the Solaris 10 as well, and please guide
towards any changes required to be made.

Thanks, and awaiting some assistance,
Praveen.
