I'm facing installation error for same patch with same commands
specified above in solaris 10 fcs release and with latest clusters .
Suggest me how to overcome this error in solaris 10 or any altarnative
options in patchadd command in solaris 10 or Any altrnative commands
to support this functionality in solaris 10.
You've asked this question before, and not given many details either,
but I understand it is a patch you have prepared yourself, not one of
Sun's patches.
In order to be able to say anything sensible, I'd need much more
information, like the exact wording of the errors that are generated,
the error log file, the nature of the patch you're trying to apply (is
it an application-only patch, or are you trying to patch the startup
scripts, for example, or is it something that is affected by zones).
Without detailed information, there's not much that I can say apart
from the observation that I had patches for Studio 11 fail in Solaris
10 but not in Solaris 9. I fixed it by using the -G flag, even though
this particular Solaris 10 system doesn't use zones.
Take care,

Stefaan thanks for your messege!!!
We've developed an application package details as follows:
1. XXX_3.2 (main version) -> This intallation is fine
2. Patch_170006-06 (This is the patch for above application).
This is an application patch will not affect any zones.
Note: This is not related to any solaris patches or cluster
installation in solaris 10 fcs.
We've writtten an installation script for these packages and patches.
For patch installation we're using above specified commands in script.
