Re: Firewire

Please check the Solaris OS: Hardware Compatibility Lists. It will tell
you if the card is supported or not in that specific version of
Solaris:

Hi,

I tried lastweekend to upgrade to S10 u2 and moved two Firewire disk
used for backup purpose from USB resulting in a FS crash with corrupt
magic label... (:

The plan was to put ZFS on these disks and two more.

Is IEEE1394 disk support still not stable on S10u2 or do I have some
other problems, I use a Belkin 3USB+2FW card in a E250 connected to two
Maxtor 500GB external USB/IEEE1394 exclosures.

Under USB the devices have been working without a problem.
