It never proceeds beyond this point. Does anybody know what it is
specifically looking for at this point? I have spent a good amount of time
searching the internet for solutions but haven't found much. Any help at
all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Snoop the client from the server. What packets is it sending? Is it
looking for a file?
Can you ping the client from the server? Does pinging it make it go
again?

Your jumpstart client is looking for the sysidcfg file - you need to
have that file set up & also specify the location to it when you run
the add_install_client script. The location must also me shared via NFS
.
