On the installation media?
And is there a command that tells me on which of this 6 disk ?
Or download it in case i don't have the media in my hand. Oh my god,
Solaris sucks so much in usability. Sun should really pay a few people
in Bangalore to fix this instead of hacking on Java.
Anybody here who has the private email address of Mr. Schwartz? Or
better Mobile Number?
Did you ever bother to read any of the man pages, web based
documentation, the README's on the CD's? There is even documentation on
how to get a single server across multiple cards/displays. The
installation of multiple monitors/cards is so well documented in so
many places that I suspect the you are simply looking for a reason to
complain about Solaris. Unlike Linux and Windows Solaris works as
documented. There are no magic "oh you have to recompile the kernel and
do mumble mumble" to get that to work. All you had to do was type
"man Xsun". My son is a computer engineering student and uses Solaris
on his home computer. He had to use Linux for the first time this
semester as part of a Data Structures course and his comment was "Linux
S**KS"
.
