how can i tell smpatch only to update security and/or recommended

but i haven't found a way to tell smpatch only to apply security
pachtes.
Don't think it's possible. If you prefer a command line tool anyway,
take a look at pca (see sig). With that one, it's as easy as:
pca -l missing # Show all missing patches
or pca -d missingr # Download all missing recommended patches
or pca -i missings # Install all missing security patches
or pca -r missingrs # Show READMEs of all missing R/S patches
thanks for that great script!!
Indeed. I've rolled it out to all of our machines after a struggle with
smpatch left one of my machines unbootable on Tuesday.
Thank you very much.
