Jumbo frames on T1000 1Gb interfaces?

I would like to use jumbo frames on some of the four standard 1 Gb ethernet interfaces of the T1000. The only information I found so far is an old Q&A document from Sun, stating that at the time of writing it was *not* possible to uses jumbo frames. Does anyone know if this still is the case, or has the situation changed? And if so, what is the maximum size of the jumbo frames?
