kernel directory

I am a newbie to solaris. I am trying to install a nic driver to my solaris 10
system. I downloaded the nic driver and the README file of that driver told
me to put the files in the "KERNEL" directory. Here is my silly question:

where is the KERNEL directory in Solaris 10?
