fix-modes doen't fix that.
Hopefully, this script will fix the permission modes on the essential
system files for you. (Or at least it will set the files' permissions
to a more reasonable value than 777.) It will not reverse 100% of the
damage done.
No; it will only fix modes from /var/sadm/install/contents which it
finds to permissive.
pkgchk -f will likely fix the majority of problems but you will
probably still be left with a rather insecure system.
