Portsentry for Solaris 8/10 servers - pros ad cons

We are planning to use Portsentry for port scan detection and
prevention in our Solaris 8 and 10 servers. Are there any pros and
cons in using it ? If there are more cons than pros, please let me
know what you'd recommend ? We'd need something not too difficult to
config, open source and reliable.

Thanks,

Bill
