opensolaris releases

I'm about to try opensolaris for the first time.
Having decided to opt for the "community edition" I followed the
relevant link at:
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/downloads/
then downloaded and concatenated the three segments, then burned and
booted the DVD.
The first thing I see on the grub boot screen is a choice of
installations:
Solaris Express Developer Edition
Solaris Express
...and a couple of console options
I must be missing something here. I read the brief descriptions of the
community and developer editions, concluded the former was for me and
downloaded the relevant link, so why am I being asked to choose
between developer (the link for which I ignored) and a flavour which
isn't mentioned on the download page? README.txt on the DVD also opens
with "Welcome to the Solaris Developer Edition DVD".
So what's going on? I know could go ahead and install and play away,
but downloading and burning a 3.5GB dvd isn't a pleasurable experience
for me and I'd rather not have to do it for everything available to
find out what the differences are.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
