"bad pbr sig" after network install of SunFire X4150

I am trying to install a number of SunFire X4150 machines with Solaris
10 U4. The machines came without disks and we installed two SAS disk
that were ordered with the machines from Sun. I did a custom
jumpstart install which seemed to work without problems. It sets up a
svm mirror and installs the OS with all the modifications that we
need. We have a number of X4100 machines that are in- stalled without
any problems with the same flash images.
After rebooting the X4150, I get the error message "bad pbr sig" and
the machine does not boot. On sunsolve I found Bug ID 5067203 from
2005 which basically says: You cannot do a network install on a new
unused disk. There is no workaround besides installing from CD first.
Is this still true?
What is the problem with the PBR sig error? I looked at the disk
partitions with fdisk from inside format and it claims that there is a
single SOLARIS2 partition which is marked as active. I cheked the
last two words of the PBR and they are set to 0xaa55.
Regards,
Matthias
