I'm inclined to doubt that it's possible to pass that exam without
having at least *some* practical experience; unless there's a better
book than any I've seen. The books that I HAVE seen have errors. When
you have found all the errors in your text book you have some chance to
pass the exam.
For each service:
how do you configure the client?
how do you configure the server?
how do you troubleshoot the client?
how do you troubleshoot the server?
(And know the full paths to the various configuration files.)
Write notes on each topic, then condense them till they fit on one side
of paper (or index card) per topic. Then take the exam.
Check the pass mark: how many answers are you allowed to get wrong?
It stops you getting too nervous if you know you can get (say) 20 wrong
and still pass.
Answer the questions as quickly as possible: if you know your stuff,
the right answer is the one that looks familiar. But if you sit there
studying the question for five minutes, all the possible answers will
start to look familiar.
If you do not know the answer to a question, leave it: move straight on.
You can go back at the end if you have left too many, and occasionally
a later question will reveal the answer to an earlier one.
Good luck.
