Hi,
Just upgraded my workstation to an Ultra 25 with xvr-2500 graphics
card. I attached two monitors to the card and copied my /etc/dt/config/
Xservers from the old Blade 1500 Silver with XVR-100 graphics card.
Sadly, I noticed that I don't have two devices in /dev/fbs/ directory
as I did in my old blade 1500.
Now the result is that I have one large window on both monitors
instead of two :0 :1 windows. This is really annoying and very much
like Windows.
The GUI or CLI configuration does not have the two-window option at
all.
Is there a way that I can fix this problem with out taking the old FB
from the old machine and install it in my 'new' machine?
Thanks.
I ran in to the same issue with the XVR-2500 and haven't come up with
an acceptable work-around. I've had several other issues with this
card as well. Good luck
.
