    Adam,

Thanks for your help, I saw that procedure before but it was not
exactly what I was looking to do. I was successful in reaching my
goal with the tweaking of a few unsupported procedures. I
successfully took a 2 node cluster running 5.1A with PK2, vdumped the
boot partition for member 1, boot partition for member 2, cluster
root, cluster var, and cluster usr, and a dd'ed of the cnx partition,
then upgraded that cluster to 5.1B PK1. Having to write procedures on
going from 5.1A PK 2 to 5.1B PK1 I then took my backups, booted off of
a 5.1A CD did the restores and was back to my original cluster.
No add or delete members had to be done, no creating a "new" one node
cluster then over laying files, just had the CD and vdumps. I will be
going through and documenting this procedure again after Memorial Day,
the only difference will be that the vdumps I will be using will be
from a different hardware platform, hopefully besides booting
genvmunix and rebuilding the kernel this will also be successful.
There were 2 additional people helping me on a part time basis and
without there input and perspective I still might be in the lab trying
to complete this task instead of at home taking care of my yard.
