Most of 533MHz 21164 CPUs I ever tested worked fine up to 733MHz. I even
managed to benchmark them at 733MHz.
You definitely may try yours at 667MHz.
In fact 164LX supports up to 800MHz, but you may need something like Peltier
cooler for it and at least 600MHz CPU.
