Sounds stupid but I am trying to access the SRM console on a 433au.
Beyond ripping out the HD(Im assuming this will work) I have been
unable to find a consistent method by which one can force the
machine to boot to that console. I have tried Cntrl-P and Cntrl-C
methods. Cntrl-C worked once and for the life of me it will not
work again. The alpha stations I normally work with have a hardware
halt button. This I presume does not exist on the personal
workstations or if it does it is internal such as a jumper on the
mobo. I have searched for approximately 3 hours now with no luck
beyond more cntrl-p and cntrl-c posts. Anyone out there know the
proper method of forcing a boot to the SRM console on the Alpha
Personal Workstation 433au?
Thanks.
