Digital Unix 4.0a on PC164LX is this possible?

Hi,
Bought an older version of Digital Unix on Ebay, i want to install
that on my PC164LX but it refuse to boot.
The system has an IDE disk an a SCSI on an adaptec 2940.
The adaptec is not recognised ny the SRm ( i have SRM 5.8)
