problem Compiling socat on Tru64 4.0f

    Hi Everyone,
    I am trying to install socat on Tru64 Ver 4.0f uing gcc and I have
    stuck with while linking it with the following error messages

    vsnprintf
    snprintf
    collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
    *** Exit 1
    ...
    Do you have any direction on this ... (i.e. if some libraries would be
    needed ...
