This group will surely help you. Not that installing Tru64 takes much
    experience.
It was possible for me, without any previous knowledge (unless you count
    installing
    Ultrix-16 in 1980 :-) to install Tru64 v5.0 in one attempt on a Digital
    Server 3305.
Which brings us to the second question. You don't say what version of Tru64
    you
want to run. You do need an Alpha powered system of course. Have a look at
    the
AlphaServer 800 or an AlphaStation 200.
I'd stay away from the earlier Alpha's like the DEC 3000 series. Reliable no
    doubt
but power hungry and fairly slow.
An alternative would be a "white box" alpha. These are labeled Digital
    Server instead
of Alpha Server but will run Tru64 (and VMS :-) as well as their blue
    painted twins.
They need a small software modification, see /home.zonnet.nl/hvlems
Worth looking for because these systems are generally dumped because they
    were
sold as Windows NT only systems.
I can't answer the third question...

    Good luck

    Hans
