My employer might be looking to contract a Tru64 Programmer for a small
project depending on if the task is possible and what it would cost...

Earlier I posted an issue we were having with a .so library that is loaded
by X in order to interface with an Immersion Box (basically a serial port
multiplexer if you will) and a special mouse combination and talk to an X
application in the process. This library was originally designed for
Tru64 4.0. It will not work under 5.0 or 5.1b. X outright dies apparently
when calling the "strcspn()" function. Unfortunately the code for the
original driver is closed source and hence we can not simply recompile it
    or modify the original code.

I believe if the price is right I can convince my employer to contract
someone to either redevelop this driver to work on 5.1b or to provide
services that would allow the older driver to run under 5.1b.

What I am wondering is if there is anyone out there that would be
interested, knows someone who might be interested or knows where I might
    find contacts for such services.

    I can be reached at/ jnielsen/AT//aero-graphics/DOT//com

    Thanks.
