"omega" and "gamma" are both in the rack next to my bed (computer nerd's
"sound machine"). amazing enough my wife and i sleep better with them
on :).
the 3rd (now parts) was in my "computer room" (aka dining room) floor
when i was jacking with CentOS and it was failing and the 4th is at a
friend's in his "computer room" (spare bedroom). steady 73-75 degrees
in here.
i guess i'll find out in a few days. the processes are looping when
they complete and time stamping a file so i can keep track of it at least.

It's been so long I can't remember for certain, but isn't there an OS
string within the Firmware? And couldn't it be set to VMW or UNIX or
Windows (depending on the age, I assume, for Windows).

My question would be what is yours set to - assuming I'm remembering
correctly.
